Money Leak Finder

How the business space works

Five steps, in the order you actually do them. Everything stays in this space and never mixes with your personal analysis.

  1. 1Import your business statementsChoose a bank statement file for your business account. It is read on this device and added to the business space only. Nothing is copied from your personal analysis, and nothing goes the other way.
  2. 2Enter what you know, leave the rest blankOnly the cash and bank balance is needed to start. Money owed to you, inventory, equipment, loans, unpaid card balance and money you owe are all optional and can be added later. A blank stays blank and is never counted as zero.
  3. 3Read the monthly cash-flow tableMoney in, money out and the difference for each month, split into fixed and variable costs, with the months that ran negative marked. Card-bill payments and transfers between your own accounts are excluded so the same money is not counted twice.
  4. 4See the simplified balance sheetAssets, liabilities and net worth, built only from the figures you entered. Net worth is shown only when both sides have at least one figure — otherwise unpaid debts would look like they do not exist. Whatever is missing is named on the card.
  5. 5Run the AI management readThis is the subscription part. After you agree on the consent screen and press the button yourself, category totals and the balance figures you entered are sent for analysis. Merchant, supplier and customer names are not sent, and neither is your trade name.
